Kibibi Monie will take us on a storytelling adventure. "Strength" is a Kenyan folktale about a competition of man and animals. The performance will end with an interactive lesson of Swahili words.
Monie was the resident storyteller for the Woodland Park Zoo’s African Village, she is the director of the Nu Black Arts Theater, and has a long history of directing and performing in Seattle.
