Grab your BBC Micro:bit and find your rhythm – it’s time for some serious AIR GUITAR! Using a variety of materials, you’ll craft a rockin’ air guitar of your very own to take home. Then, we’ll use a BBC Micro:bit to turn it into the ultimate music machine with a series of codes. We’ll end the workshop with a concert to show of our work and celebrate our creations. Learn more about the connections between coding and music, how basic microprocessors work, and exactly how fast you can strum your air guitar. Want to keep jammin’ after class? Bring your own BBC Micro:bit or take one home for an additional fee.
This workshop aims to introduce kids 9-15 to microprocessors and coding with music.
