Seattle Parks and Recreation Community Engagement Ambassadors are going into the community to engage people about the project.
Lakeridge Playground is also known as Lakeridge Playfield. It includes a baseball field, play area, comfort station, and fenced-in courts (basketball court and tennis court). The project site includes the play area, ballfield, associated circulation, and the courts (one basketball court and one tennis court). The tennis court has been impacted by continual soil sliding onto the court and is currently unusable. The retaining wall replacement study will help determine whether the tennis court will be retained, modified, or removed.
