Children's book superstars Mac Barnett and Shawn Harris present an interactive theatrical spectacular: an evening of live music, dramatic performances, and out-of-this-world hijinks celebrating The First Cat in Space and the Soup of Doom, the second book in their bestselling graphic novel series. If you show up dressed as your favorite character from the books, you'll get a special gift!
Tickets are required in advance for this special presentation.
What you need to know:
- Tickets include a copy of the featured book and admit up to 3 attendees. Younger guests must be accompanied by an adult.
- Books will be pre-signed with no personalization and available for pick-up at the event. In lieu of a signing line, fans will have a chance to get their photo taken with Mac and Shawn.
- Additional pre-signed copies of The First Cat in Space Ate Pizza and The First Cat in Space and the Soup of Doom will be available for purchase at the event, along with First Cat merch!
- This event will take place on the Commons Stage, immediately adjacent to our store. Seating will open 30 minutes prior to the event.
