Join us for the 3rd annual A Midsummer’s Ice Cream at the Lacey Museum. This fun-filled and educational evening will provide free ice cream bars and cones donated by Costco (while supplies last). Event highlights include garden tours, historic games, Michael’s free craft stations for kids, and the Lacey Fire Department’s antique 1945 Seagraves fire engine. Musical entertainment will be provided by the singing quartet, Capital Blend. The museum will also be open for touring.
To close out Lacey’s 50th anniversary celebration, the event this year pays tribute to 1966, the year of incorporation. Kids and adults alike will enjoy exploring the differences between a 1960s Mustang and today’s model. Families won’t want to miss playing groovy games of the era. Rumor even has it that a pop culture icon from 1966 will be there!
