Come celebrate Bird Safe Seattle Week with us at this fun and informative two-part event!
We'll meet at the Magnuson Children's Garden to start owl pellet dissections promptly at 6:30 pm. Afterwards, we'll split into two groups—one family-friendly and one kid-free—on our bird walk.
Magnuson Park is Seattle's second largest park and home to many birds, beavers, and other creatures. Once a naval air station, on land substantially altered to serve that purpose, Magnuson now boasts 30 acres of restored wetlands and 170 reported species of birds! Our stroll will take the Frog Pond Trail to central wetlands area and back.
All ages welcome but preregistration is required. Binoculars recommended but not required. Please indicate during registration if you would like to borrow a pair.
