Calling all families, pregnant people, and caregivers! Come meet Kitsap’s abundant network of local businesses and services, which support families through the childbearing years and beyond.
Whether you’re pregnant, considering pregnancy, or are a parent or caregiver, the Expo has something to offer everyone. Over 40 local businesses will be in attendance, ranging from: pregnancy care providers, birth and postpartum doulas, birth and family photographers, lactation support services, wellness centers, bodyworkers, and many more. Additionally, local makers will be selling their handmade goods.
The Expo also welcomes children! This is a family-friendly event, featuring activities for kids at multiple vendor booths. There will be a play area in the main event space from Ahoy Kitsap Playland, as well as free on-site childcare staffed by local pre-schools.
In addition to meeting vendors, attendees can access 30-minute classes and workshops throughout the day related to pregnancy, birth, postpartum, parenting, and childcare. A few of this year’s topics include preparing your pelvic floor for labor, an introduction to breastfeeding session, as well as classes about newborn neurology and sensory development.
