Join us for our third Lunar New Year celebration to celebrate the beginning of year of the Snake! Enjoy free arts and crafts, paper lantern decorating ($5), LQ Lion Dancers. Kokon Taiko Drummers, a bake sale, food trucks and a marketplace representing local Asian small businesses and makers.
PhinneyWood Lunar New Year plans include:
- Free arts and crafts
- Paper lantern decorating at the Phinney Center from 1-4 pm ($5)
- Marketplace from 1-4 pm
- Food trucks from 1-4 pm
- LQ Lion Dance performance at 2 pm
- Seattle Kokon Taiko performance at 3:30 pm
As a tradition, consider bringing cash to fill red envelopes to feed the Lion Dancers. The PNA also appreciates your contributions, which support this event and other similar cultural celebrations.
