Nrityalaya School of Dance was founded by Vidyalakshmi Vinod in 2002 in greater Seattle area to teach students the ancient Indian classical dance, Bharatanatyam. They strive to impart quality dance education and disciplined training to its students and help them grow into professional classical dancers.
Urvasi Dance Ensemble has practiced and promoted the research and practice of classical Odissi/Orissi dance from India in Seattle and Olympia, Washington since 1975.
Chennai Beats was born in 2011 out of Valli Prabu’s profound love for dance. Chennai Beats grants opportunities for dancers to excel, advance, and perform. They believe dancing helps one relax and is an outlet to emotions hidden deep within.
