Come explore the world of bees and pollination with the Puget Sound Beekeepers at the 3rd annual PSBA Kids' Day! Highlights of the day include a live hive demonstration, story time hosted by Seattle Public Library, plant identification scavenger hunt, pollination simulation, arts and crafts, bee anatomy game, flower facts, honey tasting, an observation hive and more! All activities take place at the family friendly West Seattle Bee Garden and Commons Park P-Patch. The space is adjacent to a large park and playground - great for running and playing. Restrooms and shade also available within the park. Target audience = 6-10 years. All ages welcome. Story Time begins at 10am, followed by remainder of activities. Participation is free! All honey purchases support the non-profit efforts of the Puget Sound Beekeepers Association.
