One of the most interactive and thought-provoking urban design events on Seattle’s annual calendar, the 13th annual Seattle Design Festival (August 19 – 24, presented by AIA) kicks off with a free, family-friendly Block Party at Lake Union Park on August 19 & 20 from 10am-7pm.
This year’s Festival theme of CURIOSITY invites visitors to ask, "What if?" and gives us the tools, through interactive art installations and other design experiences, to expand our perception of the world around us.
The installations are designed to be enjoyed by people of all ages, sizes, and abilities. Families are welcome and encouraged.
