Stigma Free Seattle

Calendar/Event Details

Join NAMI Seattle in celebration of National Mental Health Awareness Month at Stigma Free Seattle on Saturday, May 20th. Stigma Free Seattle is a free, drop-in, all ages event to not merely raise mental health awareness, but to build community to stop the stigma of mental illness. Let’s all get together to show that we are not alone in working towards our best mental health.

Programming at Stigma Free Seattle will include collaborative community art, mental health panels, screening of a locally produced documentary, and more! Grooving for Good will be there to lead an emotional intelligence talk and interactive live art session. Seattle Arts and Lectures’ youth poet laureate will do a reading, and opportunities for folks of all ages to learn about mental health and create arts and crafts will be on site.
