Join us for special events to celebrate the start of Summer Reading for all ages! Kicking off at 11am we will be joined by Seattle Times Lit Life columnist and former book editor Mary Ann Gwinn, as she shares stories about books, authors and a career in reading.
At 3pm you won’t want to miss acclaimed illustrator and author Toni Yuly, as she reads from her popular picture books for children.
Toni's books will be available for purchase, courtesy of BookTree bookstore of Kirkland. Take time between events to sign up for a summer reading program, talk to staff about recommended reading, learn how to download eBooks, and enjoy refreshments.
