Umoja Fest is a cultural extravaganza that uniquely touches the spirit of the Community and has historically been the most unifying celebration of Summer in Seattle's Central District. The Festival brings people of all ethnic backgrounds together for a Celebration of Culture, Economic Advancement, Entertainment, Social festivities, and Networking. The event highlights activities such as the popular Africa Town Heritage Parade, Children’s Day, the AfroBeats Stage, Basketball Tournament, Fitness and Wellness Circle, Gospel Fest, Voter Registration, and Vendor Marketplace.
