VCA is proud to host our fourth annual Dia de Los Muertos at Kay White Hall on Sunday, November 3, from 1-3 pm.
While Halloween is a night to fear the dead, Dia de los Muertos (or “Dia de Muertos” as it’s called in Mexico) is a time to embrace them! Dia de los Muertos is a celebration of life in death, a time to remember loved ones and enjoy lively art, music, dance, food, and laughter!
EVERYONE WILL BE THERE, including the stunning dancers of Bailedores de Bronce, who return to VCA for the third year while they celebrate 50 years as a company. Wenatchee’s Mariachi Noroeste will play traditional mariachi music while Vashon’s own Luz Glaxiola will be clowning around and La Isla Mexican Food will fills our bellies with delicious food. We invite you all to participate in decorating the community ofrenda to honor those who can only be there in spirit lovingly.
