VIRTUAL: ParentMap ParentEd - Raising an Independent Learner - Strategies to Help Kids Help Themselves

Calendar/Event Details

After more than a year of taking on the roles of teachers, counselors and cafeteria workers, all while trying to juggle our own jobs during the pandemic, parents are rightfully exhausted. How can we help our kids “catch up” to where they need to be this school year, and get them to actually want to learn and succeed, without the stress and dread?

Drawing from their extensive classroom experience, teachers Abby Freireich and Brian Platzer have a pretty good idea of what constructive help looks like — because they literally wrote the book! Join this free ParentMap Live talk to learn how to raise active learners, including knowing exactly when and how much to help, so that they can work independently both in and out of school.

We know you’re busy. If you can’t attend the live event, you can still participate! After the event concludes, all registered attendees will be emailed a link to watch the recorded session at their convenience. By joining in the live event, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the interactive Q&A portion.
