Join us for World Autism Awareness Day! WAAAlk for Autism is an inclusive and family friendly celebration to provide resource information for families and raise funds for Washington Autism Alliance & Advocacy (WAAA). Friends and neighbors are invited to join us as we build community to bring inclusion, social justice, and health equity to families impacted by autism and developmental disabilities.

Free to the general public and fundraising teams of supporters, activities for the day include: 
Sensory-Sensitive Fun for Children and Teens
Autism Resource & Fun Fair with adaptive bikes and obstacle course
Over 20 character appearances courtesy of Redmond FurLife 
3K Walk Along Kirkland’s Waterfront 
Master of Ceremonies, Gee Scott, ESPN Radio’s “Voice of the Seahawks”
Guest appearances by Senator Larry Springer and youth activist Jasmine Miller

TIME:    10:00 - Fun & Resource Fair starts               
11:00 -  3K walk starts 

In the U.S., approximately 1 in 68 children have autism. WAAA serves over 2,800 families statewide annually. By guiding families through complex healthcare and education systems, WAAA has helped over 12,000 children in Washington secure effective autism treatments. 

Help support our efforts to bring inclusion, social justice, and health equity to families impacted by autism and developmental disabilities.

 - Donate to a team
 - Attend the Fun Fair and WAAAlk (free)
