When School is Out, Pools are In: People's Pool

When school is out, come to your local Metro Parks Tacoma indoor pool for free recreational swimming hours. Join us at one of our indoor pool locations on specific dates throughout the year for fun-filled water activities for your kids to enjoy while school is not in session.

Free for Tacoma Public School students

Join us on the following dates:

Monday, Nov. 11: Veteran's Day
Wednesday, Nov. 27: Day before Thanksgiving
December 23, 26, 27, 30, January 3 & 4: Winter break days
Monday, Jan. 20: MLK Day
Monday, Feb. 17: President's Day

Note: pools are limited capacity.

Pool Safety Rules:

• Children ages 6 and younger (and those older who cannot meet the minimum height requirement 42″), must be within arms length of an adult at all times while in the pool.
• Maximum of two children ages 6 and younger per adult.
• Children ages 9 and younger must be accompanied by an adult at pool facilities.
• Children between the ages of 7-9 will be swim tested in order to swim without a parent being in the water with them.
