Calendar/Event Details

Through smell and taste, you will expand our sensory awareness to learn about the wonders of wild edible and medicinal plants of the Pacific Northwest with environmental educator Rachael Witt. You will learn plant identification, sustainable harvesting techniques, seasonal tending, edibility, medicinal benefits, toxicity, and more!

By the end, you will gather plants to make fresh tea as well as learn drying techniques and plant combinations to bring a wild tea blend home with you.

This workshop is intended for people age 13+!

Rachael Witt of Wildness Within is a gardener, wild-crafter, herbalist and teacher. Rachael's degree in Ecology and Evolution led her to research plants and is a certified Registered Herbalist through the American Herbalist Guild.
