Run for your lives at the Zombie Run 5K! Put on your best eerie gear and get ready to be chased by zombies along the trail! Enjoy selfies at the photo booth with free coffee and healthy snacks!

Saturday, October 12, 20234- Nathan Chapman Memorial Trail, 9:30 AM
This fun run/walk is a 5K course. A timing clock will be at the finish line to keep track of overall times. Results will be made available once you cross the finish line and will be posted on our website the week after the race. Dress up and enter the costume contest for a chance to win a prize. Participants will receive a keepsake medal when they cross the finish line!
The beautifully forested 5K course on the Nathan Chapman Memorial Trail is very flat and stroller friendly. Starting at Heritage Recreation Center, the course runs around the baseball fields then heads south and takes a large counterclockwise loop around South Hill Park and forested wetlands. The course then progresses back toward Heritage Recreation Center's lower soccer fields, north along 94th Avenue, then west through the lower parking lot (next to Zeiger Elementary,) and ends in between fields 2 and 3 inside the sports complex. Get ready with a pre-race warm-up hosted by Jazzercise beginning at 8:45 a.m.
