November 2021

November ushers in the season of giving and celebrating our cherished family traditions, many of which center around our favorite holiday foods. What should never be a holiday tradition for anyone? Hunger. Sadly, too many Washington state families — totaling some 850,000 souls each year — face a second pandemic holiday season in food-insecure homes. Our November feature proposes some readily actionable ideas for how families can help combat food insecurity in their communities. We invite you to start a new or additional giving tradition this year, by helping to feed our neighbors in need.

We’ve also compiled a list of other festive and meaningful new traditions to adopt into your annual holiday celebrations; a terrific gift guide featuring unique products made in Washington; and a passel of shows and performances, festivals and early-season holiday events to get you out and about this November.
