Live Q&A webinar streamed on Zoom
Are you feeling overwhelmed by the pressures of modern parenting? What if the key to raising happy, independent kids is doing less — not more? It’s time to break free from the constant worry and give your children the freedom to thrive. Join ParentMap and self-proclaimed “free-range” mom and parenting advocate, Lenore Skenazy, on May 6 for our next ParentEd Talk. Discover how to raise confident, responsible kids, all while doing much, much less. We know — it sounds too good to be true. We promise — it’s not.
Skenazy will share about her personal journey letting go of the worries that weigh parents down, offering a refreshing perspective on resisting the pressures of hyper-involved parenting.
Register here for the live Q&A-style webinar for just $10. By signing up, you’ll receive access to the event recording to watch anytime, anywhere. Or, purchase a season pass for the entire ParentEd Talks series of monthly speakers for just $50.
About the speaker
Ever since her column “Why I Let My 9-Year-Old Ride the Subway Alone” created a media firestorm, Lenore Skenazy has been declaring that our kids are safer and smarter than our culture gives them credit for. In response to the blowback, she started Free-Range Kids, the blog-turned-book-turned-movement that garnered her the nickname, “America’s Worst Mom.” You may have seen her on “The Today Show,” “The Daily Show,” “Dr. Phil” or her own reality show, “World’s Worst Mom.”
Skenazy is cofounder and president of Let Grow, a nonprofit promoting childhood independence. Before all this, she was a reporter and columnist at The New York Daily News and New York Sun. Her other books include “Has the World Gone Skenazy?” and “The Dysfunctional Family Christmas Songbook.”
Skenazy lives in New York City with her husband and beloved computer. Her sons are gainfully employed.
