Join the Village of Merriwick on Opening weekend as we celebrate all things Fantasy with A Midsummer Night’s Fantasy. Here, we invite all things magical & fantastical to take part in the revelry. All are welcome: Vikings & Barbarians, Mythical Beasts, Witches & Warlocks, Magicians & Wizards, Knights, Dwarves & Goblins, Sirens & Faeries, Time-Travelers, Hobbits, Elves, Jokers & Jesters, Bards & Storytellers, Myths, Legends, Gods & Goddesses, Cosplayers, LARPers& and all creatures big or small. Bust out your best garb and let your imagination come to life!
Aug 23-13: Festival of Fairies!
We shall spend the weekend celebrating the fantastical and magical world of faeries, trolls, dragons and much, much more. We encourage our audience to dress up in the spirit of the worlds beyond, from faerie wings to unicorn horns, join us in our mystical romp through the faerie realms! Be on the lookout for the Great Faerie Smasher, looking to capture our beloved fae in his massive net! Faerie lovers – a TREAT! Come and meet Amy Brown, renowned Fairy artist! Get her autograph from 1pm – 3pm! This weekend ONLY!! Don’t miss it!
Aug 19-20: Pirates, Plunder and Arrhhh!!
Join us for a weekend of Piratical Plunder, sea shanties, and adventure! Our final weekend, we invite our guests to unleash the pirate within. Everyone has a bit of the pirate in their heart, and this be the perfect weekend to slap on that eye patch, don a feathered hat and join the rollicking crew of the Emerald Rose and the SeaDogs in a weekend that will surely be a ‘treasure’ to remember. No better end to the 2017 Season than with this fun-filled weekend of shenanigans and fun for the whole family! You’ll be singing, “Yo Ho Ho. A Pirates Life For Me: in no time!
