Join us for a day of holiday celebrating as we welcome the season with fun activities! The fun begins at 10:30 a.m.
Schedule
10:30 a.m.-12 p.m, and 1-2:30 p.m.
Family Workshops
Beneath a real M/D-21 Blackbird spy plane, families can drop-in and build a whimsical paper glider of the Mach 3 jet (aka, “the sled”). All supplies will be provided, and some additional materials will be given to supercharge their glider for more flying fun at home.
Noon-1 p.m.
Live Holiday Music
One hour of live holiday music provided by the Boeing Employees Concert Band in the Museum’s Great Gallery.
2-3:30 p.m.
Live Comedy Improv with a Movie
Jet City Improv comedians will perform in front of a screening of the 1964 film, Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. This “Twisted Flicks” version is a comedy show that adds fun to an old "B" movie by combining the film with live improv, music and more. The improvisers will use audience suggestions to create new dialogue, music and sound effects on the spot. The show will be in the Charles Simonyi Space Gallery.
All activities are FREE with Museum admission.
