Join Wa Na Wari for a childrens' jewelry making workshop for ages 7 and 12. Led by Afua, curator of Wa Na Wari’s pan-Afrikan Marketplace, this workshop is designed to couple free play design using a combination of beads/materials from the Afrikan continent with other available materials while sharing cultural information about them as children create. Each child will create one wearable piece which is theirs to keep.
The workshop is free – supplies included. Registration is not required, but space is limited on a first-come, first-served basis.
