Juneteenth Celebration in Mountlake Terrace

Join us for a vibrant and uplifting Juneteenth celebration! This community event is a day of remembrance, education, and joy, honoring the African American emancipation and the end of the US Civil War. Enjoy FREE FOOD, entertainment, games for kids, engaging speakers from the community and local vendors. Let’s come together to commemorate our history, celebrate unity, and create lasting memories. Everyone is welcome!

The event will include a DJ, photo booth, community resources, activities for youth, panels with youth and community leaders, a presentation and exhibit by Georgia Payne on Underground Railroad Code Quilts, and free food provided by three local vendors: L&S Soul food and BBQ, Navis Catering Kitchen, and Yummy Box.
