The Light the World Giving Machine, the unique “vending machine” that provides a convenient way to donate to local and global charities during the Christmas season, will open to the public on November 29 at the north side of Bellevue Downtown Park across from Bellevue Square. It will remain open through Jan. 1, 2023 from 11 AM to 10 PM daily. It's fun and rewarding for kids to purchase items like clothing, clean water, hot meals, medicine, and even ducks for those in need.
Giving Machine items range in price from $3 to $300, and include staples such as clothing, personal hygiene, meals, school supplies, lifesaving medicine, and even livestock. 100% of donations received go directly to the charity of choice.
The Greater Seattle Area Giving Machines will feature items for donation from these local and global nonprofit organizations:
International Rescue Committee of Washington (IRC)
Shared Hope international (Western Washington – Anti-Trafficking)
Salvation Army (Northwest Division)
Ronald McDonald House (Washington & Alaska)
World Food Programme
UNICEF
