Bring out your inner camp kid at this year’s Camp Long Mountain Fest! Free fun for the whole family.
Join us on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 11am to 5pm at Camp Long for our annual Mountain Fest celebration. Celebrate Camp Long and Seattle’s outdoor history and culture. You can scale up the Challenge Course’s Mt. Challenger, climb Shurman Rock, rappel the glacier wall, fawn over some flora with our environmental educators, or become an avian expert with The Falconer.
Mountain Fest activities will be made accessible to all people, regardless of their experience level, which will enable beginners, intermediate, and advanced climbers and adventurers of all ages to enjoy the event. Some limitations may apply for safety reasons, and all participants in climbing, rappelling and Challenge Course activities are required to sign waivers.
Kick off the summer and experience all Camp Long has to offer! The goal of Mountain Fest is to continue the tradition started by Judge William G. Long and Clark Schurman of providing access to outdoor recreation and education to all people, particularly underserved and at-risk youth.
