Slurp soup for cancer research! Join cookbook author, cancer patient, and Seattle soup lady Caroline Wright at her soup stand – think lemonade stand, but soup instead – in front of Fremont cookbook store, The Book Larder, for a series of three Saturdays in May (May 7, 14 and 21) from noon to 3pm. Each weekend will feature a different beloved recipe from her underground weekly vegan soup club and the cookbook she wrote about it. All proceeds benefit the Glioblastoma Foundation.
