Spring has sprung and now is the perfect time to get outside and experience the magic at Farrel-McWhirter Farm Park! SpringFest is our first annual spring festival designed to celebrate nature and the outdoors with you, our community, our own Naturalists, and our Farm partners! On Saturday, May 14th, there will be two sessions for K-5 students and their families to join us for a number of professionally led activities, including:
Animal encounters and wagon rides with Farmers
Nature walks with wildlife identification with Naturalists
Water testing and aquatic insect dips with community scientists
A scavenger hunt using your newfound knowledge
Activity for littles in the Nature Vision Preschool Garden
Registration for this event opens April 11th for folks who live or work in Redmond, and April 18th for everyone! Activities are suitable for K-5 students, who must be accompanied by at least one adult. Students may also invite a second adult or a younger sibling to join them in the fun! Check out the link below or in our bio for more details! *
SpringFest is a great way to get hands-on in nature with your family while also supporting our small environmental education non-profit. Tickets are $25 for residents/$30 for non-residents.
