Join us to celebrate the kick-off of Orca Action month in Washington, Oregon and British Columbia. Become a more knowledgeable citizen as we explore the deep relationship of watersheds, rivers, the Salish Sea, and the Pacific Ocean, and their vital connection to the Southern Resident orcas and wild salmon. By learning about these inextricable ties, you can help protect, and be a part of the recovery of these amazing orcas and the salmon they need to survive, through all parts of our shared home, from Stream to Sea
Orca Month brings together researchers, advocates, and orca lovers everywhere to celebrate the Southern Resident orcas and raise awareness about their endangered status and threats. Beginning with a virtual Orca Month kick-off event on June 5th, join us for a month of educational and celebratory events from webinars to festivals to beach clean ups and salmon restoration projects. We hope to see you there!
